Guidance 9
This group guidance will help each student come to a better understanding and acceptance of herself, her relations with others and her home/school environment. This course should help her in her adjustment to high school with its new problems and demands.

Guidance 10
During this course students take the Harrington-O'Shea Interest Inventory to help them discover career options. They will become familiar with the proper training and education necessary for their future careers. All Sophomores will learn to prepare and update a resume. Additionally, they will be informed about diploma requirements and proper course selection.
Through group discussion, topics that are relevant to their age group will be discussed.
Guidance 11
This group guidance will deal with the very practical process of college and career selection. Diploma requirements will be reviewed and the importance of appropriate selection of Senior year courses will be emphasized. Explanation and registration will be done for standardized tests, specifically the PSAT and SAT.
In group discussions, students will also explore their own feelings in dealing with stress, coping with emotions, becoming responsible and discussing some of the problems of adolescence.
