Our Students

As Mount St. Ursula begins its 153rd year of educating young women in the Bronx, the Ursulines, faculty and staff continue its mission of excellence in academics and preparing well-rounded leaders for tomorrow. With a current enrollment of over 400 students whose families come from 50 different countries, Mount St. Ursula's diverse student body is a true reflection of the New York region today. The school is small enough for each young woman to be recognized, challenged and be given significant opportunities to develop important leadership skills and a solid academic foundation for lifelong learning.

Annual Fund

The actual cost of educating a Mount St. Ursula student is approximately $11,000, while tuition and fees for the 2007-2008 academic year is $6,225, leaving a gap of nearly $5,000 to be raised from other sources.

Your gift to this year's Annual Fund will allow Mount St. Ursula to ensure our tradition of providing an excellent education to our current students and future generations of young women.

Goals:

In order for Mount St. Ursula to acquire the financial resources to attract and retain the brightest students and the most qualified faculty, with your help we hope to:

-

dramatically increase our ability to provide academic scholarships and need-based financial assistance to students;

-

enhance the school's academic programs and technology;

-

keep tuition affordable for current Mount St. Ursula families.
