CPR/AED Training

At the Academy of Mount St. Ursula, the health and safety of every student is of highest importance to the entire faculty and staff. So on Thursday, May 8th nine faculty and staff members voluntarily attended a two and a half hour CPR/AED training session with the American Heart Association.

Participants learned the basic CPR and AED skills needed to potentially save the life of an adult (anyone over the age of eight) and a child 1-8 years of age. The American Heart Association generously donated two Automated External Defibrillators (AED) machines which meet the updated standards required by the Department of Health and Human Services.
