AMSU

Masonry Grant

The Academy of Mount St. Ursula recently received $100,000 from the Charles Hayden Foundation and $10,000 from the Hyde & Watson Foundation for masonry repairs this summer. The IMHOFF Company has been hired to complete the work over the course of the summer. Work will be conducted on the school building which was constructed in 1922.

"The Academy is grateful to both the Charles Hayden Foundation and the Hyde & Watson Foundations," stated Jane Martínez Dowling, President of MSU. "Their generosity will allow us to focus on plant and facility improvements on our beautiful campus, which is in the heart of Bedford Park, and what many of our students and alumnae have coined 'an oasis in the Bronx'".
