1st Semester Hebrew Scripture, 2nd Semester Christian Scripture

Assignments:

Scripture based research, stories of God as a pathway to faith

Projects:

Collaborative projects, student based presentations of scripture stories

Christian Lifestyles

Focus points:

Explorations of decisions, choices and relationships within a faith based framework.

Assignments:

Research and dialogue on life style choices, values, goals and Faith based information to direct reflective learning.

Projects:

Individual interviews with people from the three major life style choices: single life, religious life, married life. Collaborative learning projects centered on key concepts. Student based presentations of main areas of interest.

Peace and Justice

Focus points:

Key concepts related to building a world where peace and justice are consistently lived out realties.

Assignments:

Exploration of pathways to inner peace: meditation and prayer practices. Models of peaceful living. Issues of justice within our world: exploration and analysis

Projects:

Collaborative research projects on student driven areas of interest. Student based presentations of targeted issue. Models of action, prayer and reflection centered on contemporary issues of peace and justice.
