Loving God,
Jesus came to serve us all. Enlighten us to truly understand that his example calls us to serve one another. Give us the grace to offer to help, rather than wait to be helped. Inspire us to understand that true greatness comes from reaching out to people in need. Help us not to put others down, but to become their loving companions. Offer us the grace we need to walk with Jesus, and to follow his lead, with a willingness to reach out to create a community of love, that sees the opportunity to help others as our privilege and our calling.
