Youth Ministry
The aim of the Youth Ministry Program at Mount St. Ursula is to help the students recognize their potential to become caring, concerned adult Christians. Towards this end, opportunities are provided for retreat days and weekends, service, and various forms of prayer and worship. All freshmen and sophomores attend a one-day retreat, while weekend retreats for juniors and seniors are optional. Eucharistic Liturgy is celebrated by the whole Student Body for such occasions as the opening of the school year, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Lent. Special Masses provide a prayerful celebration of such events as Ring Day and Graduation. The opportunity to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered in Advent and Lent.
