Biography:

I have been living in New York since 2007, worked 11 yrs. in a staffing agency helping families with long and short terms assignments. After 11yrs I found myself wanting more. In 2018, I had the privilege to work at the elementary school St. Thomas Aquinas as the Administrative Assistance of the school until 2020. Now I‘m blessed in a new chapter of my life as an Administrative Assistant here at AMSU.

Biography: 
Doris joined the AMSU Development team in August of 2017. She previously worked at several media companies, and her most recent work experience was with Catholic Charities. While at Catholic Charities, she assisted both the Agency Relations and Development Departments and played a major role in the success of their young professionals’ program. She is looking forward to embarking on this new chapter in her life and working with faculty, staff, students, and alumnae.

Biography: 
Mitch joined the AMSU Development team in October of 2017. Originally beginning in finance, he transitioned to a fundraising position with the Metropolitan Opera. He has first-hand knowledge of how important and special Catholic school education can be. He attended Catholic schools since 2nd grade. He’s looking forward to working with the community here at AMSU.

Biography: 
Maria Joined the finance department in June 2018 having previously worked at American Express, Bank of New York and other financial institutions. Her experience encompasses a variety of areas of finance, administration and employee relations, garnering her 15 years of experience in the financial field, serving in various capacities. In her free time Maria enjoys reading, cooking, rescuing animals (she currently has two dogs and two cats) as well as volunteering her time in other charitable engagements. She's looking forwad to continue to work and grow with the community at AMSU.

I graduated from AMSU in 1999 and it has been such a pleasure to return and be of service to the school that gave me “4 years to last a lifetime”. I am happy to have started the AMSU Empowerment group 2 years ago which I completely love. This group has given me an opportunity to live out my Serviam mission.
