Biography: 
I began my career at The Academy of Mount St. Ursula as a Religious Studies teacher. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Lehman College and a Masters in Religious Studies from St. Joseph’s Seminary. I taught Religion 9 and 12 for over 10 years. In addition I have been the Youth Minister in charge of Masses and Retreats for all of my years here, as well as the director and producer of our annual International Nights and our Spring Musicals. At the present time, I am the Coordinator of Student Ministry and activities and remain involved in the Retreats and Musicals. I was born and have lived all of my life in the Bronx, and enjoy playing guitar, directing and watching Musical Theater shows, and going to the Jersey Shore.

Biography: 
Just as Serviam is the Academy of Mount St. Ursula’s motto, it is also my life motto. Serving the community through volunteer work is a passion of mine and I regularly take the time to help my community through soup kitchens, mission trips, and volunteering at my local animal shelter. One passion of mine is being a group leader at a summer camp for children and families affected by HIV/AIDS. 
As an alumna of Aquinas High School, I understand the importance of sisterhood and female empowerment. I hope to continue to inspire young ladies to be goal oriented, strong-minded independent women while working at AMSU.

I am very excited to begin another chapter in my life working at at the Academy of Mount St. Ursula. I have just started working here and everyone has welcomed me and made me feel as if I am part of another family. 

My favorite past times are watching movies, reading drama books, and spending time with my son, Family and Friends.

Biography: 
Doris joined the AMSU Development team in August of 2017. She previously worked at several media companies, and her most recent work experience was with Catholic Charities. While at Catholic Charities, she assisted both the Agency Relations and Development Departments and played a major role in the success of their young professionals’ program. She is looking forward to embarking on this new chapter in her life and working with faculty, staff, students, and alumnae.

Biography: 
Ms. Masick first began teaching at AMSU in 2008. She left in 2011 to return to school and returned to AMSU in 2015. She is extremely excited to once again be a part of the AMSU family where she will continue to foster students’ development in Academics, Arts, and Services and to instill in the young woman of AMSU and love and appreciation for literature. Miss Masick earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S.T. in Adolescent Education/English Grades 7-12. Aside from teaching she loves to read, cook, and bake.

Biography: 
Mitch joined the AMSU Development team in October of 2017. Originally beginning in finance, he transitioned to a fundraising position with the Metropolitan Opera. He has first-hand knowledge of how important and special Catholic school education can be. He attended Catholic schools since 2nd grade. He’s looking forward to working with the community here at AMSU.

Biography: 
Maria Joined the finance department in June 2018 having previously worked at American Express, Bank of New York and other financial institutions. Her experience encompasses a variety of areas of finance, administration and employee relations, garnering her 15 years of experience in the financial field, serving in various capacities. In her free time Maria enjoys reading, cooking, rescuing animals (she currently has two dogs and two cats) as well as volunteering her time in other charitable engagements. She's looking forwad to continue to work and grow with the community at AMSU.

I am happy to have started the AMSU Empowerment group 2 years ago which I completely love. This group has given me an opportunity to live out my Serviam mission.
